Project: Analyze Social Media about the Public's Use of Melatonin to Reflect the Public's Experience of Insomnia and Attitudes towards Seeking Treatment. 07/2024 – on going

Talk with patients and collect data in hospitals. Scrape healthcare product information using Requests and Beautiful Soup from the Amazon website. Clean, Process, Analyze and Visualize data using Python NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Seaborn and NLTK, etc.

Write a paper to be published as the second author, “Analyze the Impact of Melatonin on Effective Sleep through Social Media User Sentiment Analysis by Using Natural Language Processing Technology.”

Project: Analyzing and Visualizing the Distribution of Boston BlueBikes, 11/2023– on going

Leading Researcher & Organizer, BCHigh Computer Programming and AI Club
BlueBikes is a shared bike system established in the Boston metropolitan area in 2011. It has grown exponentially over the years. However, many stations often have a shortage of bikes during peak hours. I’ve led my club members to analyze the distribution of bike stations during peak hours in the Boston area and visualize the distribution of bike data on a Boston map. Future work will extend to 12 surrounding towns and cities with the BlueBike system. For such a big project with great benefits to our community, I hope my club will carry it on even after graduating high school. I will help the club continue to implement this project.

Publication: “Building and Growing a High School Computer Programming and AI Club.”

The paper was accepted by the 2025 American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) Northeast Conference in January 2025. As the only author to submit the paper to be published on the ASEE’s K-12 section on my business experience in establishing the CS/AI club and leading peers in research projects; also presented at the conference.
